First day back from the boatyard for Safran

Safran was re-launched this morning, Wednesday, March 15, in Concarneau, after two months of work in the boatyard. After being thoroughly examined and repaired, the monohull has been optimised thanks to the lessons learned from the last outing. This IMOCA is now ready for new adventures...

For, Morgan Lagravière, the skipper of Safran, it is a very satisfying re-launch: "This stage marks the end of a period of recuperation, on land," he said. "Now, we'll spend a lot of time on the water, in order to keep improving. The Kaïros teams, with Bilou, were very driven to keep the boat at the highest level of preparation - the same one it had for the start of the Vendée Globe. We're looking forward to getting back to sea and to offshore training."
